Location Overview
San Juan is the established home region of Nicolás “Nico” Vélez Rosado, better known as Aftermark. Santurce anchors his civilian life, work as an elevator technician, and the spatial anomaly that permanently altered him.
The anomaly’s deeper cause remains unresolved. The location is important because Aftermark’s power emerged from a specific physical place rather than from Genesis or an inherited ability.
Known Activity
At approximately age twenty-three, Nico and senior technician Tomás “Tomi” Santiago encountered an undocumented elevator service level and a sealed concrete chamber in Santurce. The chamber retained physical motion and later underwent a catastrophic spatial failure. Aftermark has operated as a hero for roughly four years by Genesis.
